E. S. Brown

While growing up in Columbus, Ohio a love for the English language landed E.S. "Sunny" Brown at Ohio State. A love for being able to eat gourmet foods on a regular basis landed Sunny in a local fine dining restaurant in a busboy position. After years in the restaurant industry an interest in wine turned into a hobby, a hobby into a passion, and a passion into a career and a way of life. The rest as they say is history.

Brown currently is funding his functional alcoholism by working as the wine director of an award-winning winebar, and devotes his free time to Winegeeks, travel, Ohio State football and Cleveland Indians baseball, as much wine (and beer!) as he can get his hands on, and the pursuit of a Master's diploma from the Court of Master Sommeliers. He also owes much of his success to the support of his long-time companinon Megan McBride, as much for her encouragement as for her humoring him in his wine and food geekiness.
