One of a handful of grapes allowed in the Vinho Verde blends of northern Portugal. The Arinto has a high natural acidity and takes well to both barrel and bottle age. Aromas and flavors of white flowers and citrus fruits are common. Also known as Pederña in Vinho Verde and Pedreña in Spain.
