I contacted Athena and they are no longer the U.S. importer. The gentleman I spoke to said it is now someone out of Chicago. If anyone can dig this up, it would be wonderful.

I know this is an old article, but I agree. Elyse is one of my favorite wineries. The Jacob Franklin Petite Syrah is one of the best wines I have discovered. I work in the wine business, and everyone I have seen try this one has been blown away. All of their wines are an amazing value, but if you come across the JF PS grab it!

Which Wine Pairs the Worst with Food?

The white wines of the Rhone Valley have always been difficult to pair with food. I recently had a hermitage blanc that clocked in at an amazing 14.5% alc. Combined with the lack of acidity and the producers tendancies to use new oak, this makes for a wine that pairs poorly with food.
