Lachini Vineyards
Lachini Vineyards is owned by Marianne and Ron Lachini in Oregon's Willamette Valley. They are a limited production (producing 2,800 cases in 2005), boutique winery and vineyard consisting of 45 total acres, 25 of which are planted to Pinot Noir. Their vineyard soil is a Willakenzie series soil based of sandy loam, which is biodynamically farmed.
Wines produced by Lachini Vineyards are only avaiable for mailing list customers and limited national distribution for specific restaurants and wine shops. They currently provide 4 Pinot Noirs: The 'S', Family Estate, Ana Vineyard and Cuvee Giselle. Lachini alsos produces a Pinot Gris - blend of 5 vineyards in Oregon from 3 different AVAs. Lachini is planning a 2007 Cabernet/Merlot release from Klipsun Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA.
