Au Bon Climat
Owner and winemaker, Jim Clendenen, was an assitant winemaker at Zaca Mesa for three years and worked three harvests in Australia and France before starting Au Bon Climat in 1982. Literally translated as "A well coposed vineyard", Au Bon Climat is located in the famous Bien Nacido Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. The winery is well known for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, while its Italian varietals are starting to venture onto the dinner tables of many a wine geek.
