Muscadine (Vitis rotundifolia) and NC wines in general are underrated and this should be corrected. Carolina Red from the Duplin Winery is one of their cheaper wines yet it has a very intense and flavorful taste. It is a great every day/anytime wine and also goes well with fruits or other deserts.
