Situated to the northwest of Clear Lake, Potter Valley is over 27,000 acres large, but has only 1,100 planted to vine. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Noir are grown on the valley floor, which is shielded from the forces of nature by its surrounding hills.
