A Hungarian varietal crucial to the production of Tokaji dessert wines. Tokaji is the wine of Kings and has been revered for centuries. It can last almost as long. Hárslevelu brings heavy aromatics to be blended with the body and finesse of Furmint in the production of Tokaji. As a table wine Hárslevelu can be coaxed into full, viscous and rich wines that, although subtle, often possess fine aromas of stone fruits and citrus and a lovely golden color. The name Hárslevelu is Hungarian for "linden leaf."
