Purchased for $35. Nice aroma, pleasing typicity. Enjoyable palate feel. Really liked the subtle chocolate, cinnamon, clove, and blueberry aroma. Great wine. Wished there was a little more oomph on the palate.

Excellent typicity for this varietal. Well made and displaying better than average varietal characteristics. With creamed corn, buttered toast as the elements. Fruits could be described as pineapple, baked apples, and sweet corn. Rivals many well made burgundian efforts.

I purchased this wine at a discount for $10, compared to shelf price of $25. An excellent value. Compared to Aglianico de Vulture, this wine displays new world charm. The acidity is much played down to favor the flavor and exude rich, almost gooey dark fruits. A nice wine and great to drink or to pair with food.
