figleaf reviewed Fattoria Di Lucignano, Chianti Colli Fiorentini 2005 on March 9, 2007 Fairly dark in color, in a reasonable glass little to no light makes it through. It would be easy to stain, the mouth or cloths. Initial nose and flavor are on the tanic side, even after the wine opens up, it does offer a mild berry taste in there. There isn\'t so much as to cause a pucker mind you, though I\'d say 2 glasses would be a limit. Though don\'t get me wrong it isn\'t offensive, for the price it\'s a good deal. It\'d go well with red meat, medium to sharp cheese, strong / pungent vegetables or greens. |
