joshgtv reviewed Hardys Oomoo Shiraz 2005 on October 12, 2007 Fantastic value. I wish wish that every cheap shiraz was this impressive. Actually I suspect that this wine has contributed to a rise in standards across the whole industry. |

joshgtv reviewed Hardys Oomoo Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2005 on October 12, 2007 How I wish every Australian GSM of this price delivered the same level of quality. What a great buy. I bought two cases and could've found a home for three. |

joshgtv reviewed Hamilton's Ewell Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2004 on October 12, 2007 I'm not certain as to what to do with this wine. When I opened two bottles in 2006, shortly after buying the case, they displayed a spritzig that I wasn't expecting. If it had been a riesling I would've been pleased and left it in the cellar for some years. I'll try another one in 2008 and see what development has occurred. Hard to rate this wine. |

joshgtv reviewed Caledonia Australis Pinot Noir 2003 on October 12, 2007 What a bargain. Free of the sweet "lolly" flavour which is typical of budget Australian pinot noir. Wish I'd bought another case. |

joshgtv reviewed Binder Mitchell Dovetail South Australia Shiraz Grenache Mourvedre 2003 on October 12, 2007 I picked this wine up in the wake of the collapse of Heritage Fine Wines. I'm told that investors paid upwards of AUD30 per bottle. At that price I would question its value, however at the price I paid it punches far above its weight. A great weekday drink. It may continue to improve over the next two or three years, but I didn't get my hands on enough to verify my suspicion. |

joshgtv reviewed Belgravia Estate Woodland Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot 2002 on October 12, 2007 A few bottles (maybe 3 from one case) were affected by cork taint... otherwise a good drop for daily drinking. May perhaps continue to improve over the next five years if the corks hold. |
