Well well well, this was a pleasant surprise! I'm not normally a fan of tannins although this was absolutely fabulous from start to finish with such a gorgeous depth of colour and lingering spicy characteristics. Definitely a memorable wine and highly recommended.

The vineyard itself and warm welcome we received from viticulturist Klaus Hahn, was second to none. We spent a good 2 hours at this vineyard with Klaus while we sampled the Glenguin range and he explained the history of the vineyard. A great experience all round. If you ever have the privelege of visiting the Hunter Valley region in New South Wales, Australia, be sure to stop by at Glenguin Estate.
