raechris87 reviewed De Bortoli Cabernet Sauvignon Yarra Valley Melba 1998 on April 2, 2010 Purchased for my birthday at full retail earlier this year. Very nice wine, well integrated fine tannins. Only issue is it disappeared too quickly! |

raechris87 reviewed Chateau Montrose Saint-Estèphe 1981 375mL on April 2, 2010 Absolutely astounding, this second growth Bordeaux is very much still an amazing wine, despite nearly 30 years in a half bottle. Took a little bit of time to open up, and the second bottle had retained structure better than the first, in my opinion (dad disagreed). |
