thatmollygirl reviewed Villa Wolf Pfalz Saint M Vineyards 2005 on January 10, 2009 Low viscosity and very little body as it is a riesling. Smells sweet and peachy yet very acidic. Upon initial tasting it is sweet and light, but left a bitter acid feeling on the tongue. With air introduced the acid is cut. Still leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. Would be great paired with poultry and desert. I will be finding this riesling again. |

thatmollygirl reviewed RED 2005 Sonoma County St. Francis Winery on January 5, 2009 Very pretty pink/purple color. Full body with high viscosity with the wine running slowly back down the glass after swirling. Smells great, full and spiced. Spicy flavor and heavy on the tongue. Bites a little on the tongue but sweet undertones. With air its much more sweet. Tastes stay on the tongue for a few minutes, but is very pleasant. This was suggested to me from the wine guide at Whole Foods as an introduction to red wines. I'm pleased. |
