Col Longone

Col Longone is literally translated as "long hill" and is named for the long hill on which the vineyard is situated. The winery can be found in the foothills of Friuli's western mountains near Pordenone and the river Livenza. The estate has a villa that dates back to the 18th century where vineyards had existed since the 17th century. Col Longone consists of about 260 acres, 86 of which are devoted entirely to D.O.C. vinyards, at about 1,900 vines per acre.
