Pepper Bridge Winery was founded in 1997 by wine grower and consultant Norm McKibben, with his partners Ray Goff, RG Hess and Mike Hogue, all of whom have significant experience in production and marketing. In order to round out the staff, McKibben encouraged Jean-François Pellet, the former assistant winemaker at Heitz Cellars in Napa, to join Pepper Bridge as their winemaker.
Located in the center of Walla Walla Valley, Pepper Bridge's winery was the first to instate a gravity-flow winery, with a large state of the art bi-level winery hidden amidst a throng of Cabernet Sauvignon vines. They source fruit from their own vineyard, as well as Seven Hills and Les Collines vineyards. Pepper Bridge produces some of the most sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot wines found in the state of Washington. And even though their wines exude a taste of the elite, their employees are friendly, down to earth and will greet you with warm smiles.
