johann reviewed Patrick Javillier Pommard 1999 on July 2, 2002 A deep earthy bouquet is offset by black plum on the nose. Upon opening this Burgundy yields loads of stewed black fruits, toffee and chocolate. All of these remain in perfect harmony with a slight smokiness through its long finish. |
