It had all the qualities of a good Champagne, the great nose, the green apple and citrus, the toast and cheese rind, the notes of seashells... My only complaint was that the body was a little on the flabby side, and body is very important when it comes to Champagne.

I must protest. It is indeed a lighter bodied Champagne, which makes it a wonderful aperitif. It should be noted that Champagnes come in many shapes and sizes and they needn't all be full-bodied. I have begun many a wonderful meal with this wine.
