Wow - I had never tasted a single varietal Grenache Blanc before. As an avid white wine fan, whose tastes are European - this wine really impressed. This is a firm, elegant, well structured white wine. I hear this is a very rare grape in California, probably why I've never heard of it before. For those of you who are not fans of oaky, buttery chardonnay this a wine to try! **** four stars
