Subtle, creamy aroma, with dark cherry, blackberry, pine, and tar. The tannins have calmed down, but are still present, leading the way to a blast of sweet red fruit and slight hints of mineral and vanilla. Powerful finish has a touch of pomegranate and smoke. Remarkably fresh still, probably still has several good years left.
