esbrown reviewed Olivier Laflaive Puligny-Montrachet 2001 on March 1, 2005 A pleasant white Burgundy more new world than old with notes of fresh pineapple, lime, vanilla and toasty oak. A nice combination of creamy texture and prickly acidity. Could probably hang on for a few more years in which the oak and acdis may die down, which would be good. |
