Opaque and black-rust appearance, we suggest with this Zin that you pour it and then throw the steaks on the grill. This is a big, powerful Zin that needs time to calm down. Otherwise its tannins will push you down and take your lunch money. It eventually opens up as a super rich, chewy, jammy red. There's a little barrel spice and black pepper throughout, yielding a finish of blackberry jam, oak and alcohol.
