johann reviewed Clos du Bois Sonoma County Merlot 2000 on July 28, 2004 Some mild black fruit up front quickly turns to dried fig and raisin. The finish is dry and somewhat spicy, but predominately under ripe and vegetal. 2000's bipolar temperatures in Sonoma were not kind to these unfortunate Merlot grapes. |
