The Fontanabianca winery has existed since 1969. Its domicile is in Neive (Piedmont), in the heart of Langhe, one of the world’s most important wine-producing regions which is also referred to as the “land of four wines”: Barbaresco, Dolcetto, Barbera and Moscato. Fontanabianca was founded by Pola Franco (Aldo’s father) and Ferro Ottavio (Bruno’s father). Today, their children Bruno and Aldo, together with their wives manage the winery.
As a winery, Fontanabianca cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards, all of which are located in the region of Neive. It produces Barbaresco, Barbera, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo, as well as the white varietals Arneis and Chardonnay.
