caryitenc reviewed Fontanabianca Barbera d'Alba Brunet 2001 on January 22, 2005 Good dark red Barbera, medium bodied with mild, lingering nose and reasonably dark fruit. Went very well with pork tenderloin stuffed with pesto, or grilled medallions of tuna. As a Barbera d'Alba, quite good but not as distinctive as it might be. Recommend for a dark, cold winter night with light meat. |
