Convergence Vineyards is named after the convergance of three creeks (Amador, Rancheria and Dry Creek) into one waterway on their property. Stephen Concannon worked as a financial consultant in San Francisco, and realizing that something was missing in his life he left his white collar job behind to work in the wine industry in the mid-1980s. Today, he and his wife Jamie own and operate Convergance Vineyards in the more affordable Amador County, and are more than happy to share their family-minded philosophy with winery visitors. They currently produce nine wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Barbera, Mourvedre, Zinfandel, Syrah, ZinRah, Petite Sirah and a Zinfandel Port.
