We bought this wine while on our honeymoon in 2005. Planned on saving it for a special occasion in the near future. However, I mistakenly opened it Tuesday night, and man am I glad I did. We had already eaten dinner so I have no first hand suggestions, however I imagine a filet of grilled salmon would be a nice pairing. The wine was a fuller body Pinot, which I love. It tasted of raspberries, black currants and spice. It would have been a great holiday bottle. It gave me a warm, homey comfortable sensation and had such a smooth finish. When we were finished with the bottle, we were dissappointed we hadn't bought more than one while we were out west.
