ryansnyder reviewed Dunham Cellars Trutina Red 2003 on November 11, 2006 Trutina is the Latin word for "balance", and is a great name for this Walla Walla blend of Bordeaux grapes. It is much fresher than expected, with fresh black currant and black cherry that shifts into a jammy plum mid-palate. Subtle hints of fresh tobacco, iron and clay help the fruit shine. This is a great bottle of wine for the price, one I will definitely purchase again. |
