jpredsoxdude00 reviewed SCEA Lahiteau et Fils Sauternes Chateau Laribotte 2003 on January 2, 2010 This wine was good. Had a honey-like appearance, signifying that this wine is still relatively young for a sauternes. This wine was full-bodied, with aromas of pears, peaches, honeycrisp apple, a little citrus, but not overwhelming. I thought this wine was a little sweeter than I expected, it was good, but perhaps needed some acidity to add balance. Age this wine for a few more years, and it will give you that copper-like appearance and soar with complexity. |
