bckl reviewed Pigmentum Cahors 2005 on June 15, 2010 Cahors situated in Southwest of France. It awarded AOC status in 1971. The dominant grape variety in Cahors wines is Malbec, which must make up a minimum of 70% of the wine. It is supplemented by up to 30% Merlot and Tannat. Because of the color, Cahors wine is known as “Black Wine”. |
