winotonight reviewed Steltzner Vineyards Napa Valley Claret 2007 on August 14, 2011 An opulent nose of Black Cherry, pencil lead, pine needles and beef fat. The palate is meaty, with blackberry and green peppercorns, and hints of barnyard on the sweet, subtle finish. Quite calm and Bordelaise in style, despite it's 07 Cal pedigree. |
