esbrown reviewed St. Supéry Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2003 on March 29, 2005 If you took away the grassiness of Sancerre, the ammonia of New Zealand and the tropical fruits of the usual California Sauvignon Blanc this is what you would have left: A crisp and clean wine with equal parts of citrus fruits, acidity and flowers. Fresh and fruity, but not overpowering or cloying. Well made. |
