ryansnyder reviewed Newton Claret Napa Valley 2000 on June 15, 2005 Ripe blackberry and raspberry, with notes of cinnamon, pepper, green pepper and a hint of root beer. The mouthfeel is nice, but the finish is reminischent of a leathery apple peel and dies all too quickly on the end. |
