This was an inexpensive wine but I have had significantly better for a similar price. The aroma was very mild, but the initial impression on the palate was sharp and solvent. Tannins overwhelm the fruitiness, and while my first thought was that it could stand to age another year or so, unfortunately I think it lacks the depth to age much more without running thin.
