ryansnyder reviewed Woodward Canyon Nelms Road Merlot Columbia Valley 2004 on January 13, 2006 This plush-bodied Merlot is not your standard run-of-the-mill Washington red. It features ripe black cherry, chocolate, cinnamon and subtle notes of dust and cigar box. A mid-long finish of fruit and barrel spices seal the deal nicely. Approachable now, the prevalent oak tannins could use a year or two to settle. |
